In the latest update, version 1.1.4, two powerful pixel art tools have been added to Pixel Animator. These tools provide a more convenient way to create pixel art and GIFs. Although they are not free, you can still use them for a limited time every day.

• Shape tool: By simply clicking the tool and selecting the shape type, you can easily create shapes on the screen. The supported shapes include circles, rectangles, lines, and triangles.
• Transform tool: With this tool, you can adjust the selected area by dragging and scaling it. You can also rotate the selection. Once you're done, simply click OK.

Another important change in the new version of Pixel Animator is the improved method of adding GIF frames. The frame number will not appear until a GIF frame is added, making it less confusing for newcomers. The full version allows you to add unlimited frames to a GIF, while the free version allows up to 15 frames.

Simple tutorial:

To create a GIF using Pixel Animator, you need to understand two key concepts.

First, familiarize yourself with the current button being used. The current button is indicated by a blinking animation and a color change from normal to red. The default current button is the pencil tool, but you can change it by clicking the buttons on the right panel.

The second concept is the GIF frame. A GIF animation consists of multiple individual images, known as frames. Clicking the "add" button adds a new frame, while clicking the "minus" button deletes the current frame. Pay attention to the color of the frame numbers: red indicates an added frame, green indicates the current frame, and gray means the frame can be added but hasn't been added yet. The free version allows up to 10 frames.

The frame rate determines the speed of the GIF animation, with a higher frame rate resulting in a quicker animation.
